About

Lead vocalist MARK RESENDE has sung in various bands through the years, mostly performing hard rock or metal the likes of Rush, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, etc. Outside of Rush, his biggest influences vocally are Freddie Mercury and Robert Plant. His earliest recollection of Rush was hearing Tom Sawyer on the radio (WPLJ out of New York) when he was about 11 years old. Soon after that he bought his first Rush album, Exit... Stage Left, and was instantly hooked. The first Rush concert he attended was at Madison Square Garden in September of 1984. He has since seen Rush live more than 30 times. Mark is truly honored to be in this band, paying homage to the greatest musical act in the world.

Bassist/keyboardist TONY RENDA Bassist/keyboardist TONY RENDA began his musical journey by taking piano lessons at age 6.  As a teenager, he taught himself to play the bass, guitar, and drums as well.  Tony has been in several bands since he was 18.   From recording music CDs with original bands to touring bars with covers bands.  He is also currently in an original progressive rock band called Orpheus Nine.  His main influences are Geddy Lee, Les Claypool, Steve Harris, John Paul Jones, Cliff Burton, Flea, Jason Newsted, Mike Rutherford, Krist Novoselic, and Tim Commerford. Drummer  CHRIS LAMANTIA  has enjoyed playing the drums in various situations, From grinding out the latest Top-40 with local bar bands to weddings and black-tie affairs to traveling the northeast to perform at outdoor festivals. He’s taught private lessons but has always remained a student himself and loves to learn and practice new techniques. Special projects usually bring about “a labor of love”, such as a classic 80’s ‘Rock of Ages’ spin-off and a Journey Tribute Band.  These experiences have led Chris to this current project. "It encapsulates all the elements I consider my reasons for playing. The raw excitement of Neil’s drumming, the huge challenge to simulate that, playing the music I love, and sharing that with the guys in the band and the audience. I'll admit though, this time, it’s a lot more labor than love.”

Guitarist Mark Bierman has been playing guitar incredibly inconsistently since he wrote his first song when he was 4 years. It’s been a lifelong dream to perform live in a Rush tribute band, and he’s living the dream right now! Mark has sung and played in numerous bands throughout his career, with some not-so-close brushes with success. He’s proud that his last gasp before arthritis and decrepitude set in that he’ll finally get to perform songs from one of his most admired influences.
